This study was published in the journal Nature. For this study, the team recruited 14 people who received both doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Eight of these people were earlier infected with Kovid-19. The researchers looked at their lymph nodes, which produce a type of immune system cell known as a memory B cell. Memory B cells recognize the attacking virus and do not allow them to survive in the body. Research has revealed that if these two vaccines are mixed, then memory B cells will remain active in the body for years.
Effective on these variants
Research was done on two types of corona variants in the study. This includes the alpha variant of the UK and the beta variant of South Africa. However, research could not be done on the effect of mixing these two vaccines on India's delta. In this study, by the way, only people took both doses of Pfizer participated.
