Make this famous Ayurvedic Churan at home to keep the stomach clean

 You must have heard the name of Buknu from the elders of your house.  Similarly, in North India, Buknu was first prepared at home.  This is ayurvedic churan, which is eaten by sprinkling on poori, paratha, roti, vegetable.  Apart from being delicious, it is considered very effective for digestion.  In earlier homes, instead of tablets and market powders for digestion, people used to prepare Buknu at home, which cures stomach ailments.  Stomach diseases such as constipation, gas, acidity etc. used to be cured by the consumption of Buknu.

 Let us know how to prepare Buknu at home so that you do not have to take prescription medicines for stomach problems.

 To make Buknu, you have to take some ayurvedic spices along with kitchen spices.  Which you can get from the grocery store or can also be ordered online.

 Take 50 grams of Badi Haran (also spelled Harr), Choti Haran, Bahera, Vaividang and dry Amla.  One tablespoon cumin,   teaspoon carom seeds and fennel, five large cardamoms and the same number of small cardamom, one teaspoon black pepper and one teaspoon dry ginger, 20 grams small peepal, nausadar, one tablespoon black salt, two teaspoon common salt, one small  One spoon of rock salt, five pieces of turmeric, 20 grams of torsion pods, one teaspoon asafetida, 100 grams of mustard, cooled and cooled mustard oil.

 It is very easy to prepare this churan.

 You have to first fry the spices like Harr, Saunth, Turmeric and Bahera in a little mustard oil.  If it turns brown, then take it off the gas.

 Some spices like dry amla, marsh pod, cardamom and peepal have to be roasted without oil.  If you fry for five to seven minutes, then the aroma will start coming.  In the same pan, roast cumin, fennel, carom seeds and also roast asafoetida.  You will start getting a wonderful smell as soon as the asafoetida is roasted.

 Remove the spices inside which kernels are visible.  Now all the spices have to be roasted together in the mixer.  This is a bit difficult task.  Therefore, grind the big spices first and then grind the small spices in those ground spices.  Then sieve it in a sieve, store the fine powder and grind the remaining coarse powder again.  Now keep it in an airtight container and use it whenever you want.
