TikTok said on Thursday that it will introduce an option in the next few weeks to allow users on its platform to create videos up to three minutes long. On Tiktok, users can create videos of up to 60 seconds by recording them with their favorite music. In these videos, users can also add special effects according to their own.

The company said in a blog post that in the coming few weeks, users will get the facility to upload and create videos up to 3 minutes long on TikTok. The company Tiktok, which comes under the Chinese company ByteDance, started the short video service and after its tremendous success, many other companies have also started the short video service. Facebook's Instagram has also introduced reels for the short video platform. That's how Snap rolled out Spotlight for Snapchat.
TikTok has removed more than 7 million accounts of teen users under the age of 13 from the platforms. Through this step, Tiktok has decided to set a required age limit. The company said in a blog post on Wednesday that more than 11.1 million accounts were removed for violating the app's guidelines, of which 7.26 million users were removed for not following age guidelines. This is the first time that Tiktok has published a small number of accounts.

Millions of Tiktok accounts removed
Apart from deleting the Tiktok account, it also constantly monitors the published content. Wednesday's report revealed that 8.54 million videos were removed in the US alone in the first quarter of the year. Of those removed, 36.8% were for "minor safety" reasons, 21.1% for engaging in illegal activities and 15.6% for violating policies on adult nudity and sexual activities.
